Fantasy Book Review

The Deathly Hallows, by J.K. Rowling

Genre: Fantasy
Year published: 2007
Book number: 7

My opinion: It's time for the seventh and last book of the popular youth fantasy serie by J.K Rowling, and my expectations are very high for this book. When i sat down, and started to read this book, i expected nothing but an magical and exciting time. Now Harry Potter was gonna beat Voldemort down for once, and i expected that it would be a fearsome and dangerous fight between them with their wands in the end. It was not all like that, but very near.
The book starts with Voldemort and his companions discussing what to do with Harry Potter, Voldemort decidec to finish him himself. Afterwards Harry looks back on the death of Albus Dumbledoor, his best friend. But troughtout the book he discovers that he has held much back from him, and he starts to think bad thoughs of him. He had got an assignemnt before he died from him, to destroy all the malaxcrux'es that Voldemort plans use to evil plans. Then the story unfolds with a journey Hermine, Ronny and Harry will unveil in the rest of the book.
In the end, they destroy all the malacruxes, but then Voldemort and his army attack Galtvort. The fight is long, and Voldemort and his army looks to win. But they will spare Galtvort if they give him Harry, and Harry accept. Voldemort unleash a spell upon him, and Harry fake his death. Then Harry wakes up when Voldemort least expect it, and kill him with a spell. Not what i would have in mind in the final fight, but i think Rowling knows what she does.
So, a bit dissapointing end, but a book with magic, excitement, and a plot that is very interesting. This book is good for young readers in the age of 13 to 16, but don't expect to find any great fantasy in here.
Rating: 7,5/10

Vacation soon!

It has been some hard days at school, then it's great that the vacation start's after school tomorrow. And even if it is only one week, i will enjoy it. Maybe read some books, take a trip to molde, or just stay home relaxing.
But after the vacation start's the hard work again, and then the exam's start. I just hope so much, i pray to god, that i don't get math. It's the worst subject ever, any other subject is better. I hope most for English, but since they are drawing the subjects it only depends on luck.
Please, dear god, please not math.

Tribute to Eduardo Da Silva

Yesterday, after over nine months injured, from the most horrible tackle i have ever seen, Eduardo Da Silva was back on the field for Arsenal. Then it was so good se him there, on the field, against Cardff at Emirates Stadium that no Arsenal supporter will forget. Eduardo scored two goals, and after the game he wept with joy, and he said that it was the best day of his life.
Congrulatiations,Eduardo, and may God be with you.

Music

I am a music fan, no doubt about that, but i am very critical to music styles. I only likes song with a certain fast style, if not i turn the song off at once. Ever felt the same?
Then Punk is my favorite genre, and espescially Sum 41 is my favorite. Punk is not all about playing hard, just listen to Sum 41's lyrics then you see they have a great message in their song.

Greatest Punk Bands (my opinion):
Billy Talent
Sum 41
Hoobastank
Switchfoot
The-All-American-Rejects
We The Kings
Goldfinger
The Red Jumpsuits

(Any other suggestions? Comment!)

Francesc Fabregas

Francesc Fabregas is my absolute favorite player, and he plays on my favorite team Arsenal. I don't just like him because of his great footballing skills, but his passion to fight, and the will to stand up for his teammates. When i watch Fabregas i get so inspired, he enjoyes himself on the football field so much, and i just hope he plays well. He has this great attitude, even in deafeat, that Arsenal is strong enough to beat everyone, he is the team's moral and the rightful owner of the captain's armband. Unfortuantely he is now injured, but i wish him all luck in the recovery. Can't wait to get you back, Cesc, can't wait.
